Mini Cheeseburger Sliders
Juicy little beef patties topped with melted cheese on soft mini buns. Everything kids love about burgers, sized perfectly for small hands and mouths.
Ingredients(11)
- 200g lean ground beef
- 1 tablespoon breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon ketchup (mixed into meat)
- Tiny pinch of garlic powder
- Tiny pinch of onion powder
- Small pinch of salt
- 3 slices mild cheddar cheese, quartered
- 6 mini slider buns or small dinner rolls
- Lettuce leaves, torn small
- 1 small tomato, thinly sliced
- Ketchup for serving
Instructions(10 steps)
- 1
In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, 1 teaspoon ketchup, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
- 2
Mix gently with your hands until just combined. Do not overwork the meat or the patties will be tough.
- 3
Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and shape each into a small flat patty, slightly wider than the buns since they shrink when cooking.
- 4
Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium-high heat.
- 5
Cook patties for 3 minutes on the first side without pressing down on them.
- 6
Flip patties and immediately place a quarter slice of cheese on top of each one.
- 7
Cook for another 2-3 minutes until cooked through and cheese is melted.
- 8
Slice mini buns in half. Place a lettuce leaf and tomato slice on the bottom bun.
- 9
Set the cheesy patty on top and close with the top bun.
- 10
Serve with a small squeeze of ketchup on the side for dipping.
