Sweet Potato Puree

  • 1 medium sweet potato (about 200g)
  • 1/2 cup water (for steaming)
  • 2-3 tablespoons breast milk, formula, or cooled boiled water (for thinning)

    Wash and peel the sweet potato, then cut into 1-inch cubes.

    Place cubes in a steamer basket over boiling water.

    Steam for 15-18 minutes until completely soft and easily pierced with a fork.

    Add 2 tablespoons of breast milk, formula, or water.

    Blend until completely smooth with no lumps, adding more liquid if needed for a thin, runny consistency.
