  • -Plant protein
  • -Fiber for digestion
  • -Vitamin A from sweet potato

Age Appropriateness

Soft, well-cooked lentils and sweet potato provide iron and energy in a texture that is easy to gum for babies still learning to handle small, soft lumps.

Introduction Tip

Offer a few spoonfuls alongside a familiar puree the first time. Watch for tolerance to lentils and yogurt, and thin with extra water or breastmilk if baby prefers a looser texture.
