Salmon and Pea Puree

A nutritious combination of omega-3 rich salmon with sweet green peas. Blended to a thick, slightly textured puree for developing palates.

Ingredients(4)

  • 1 small salmon fillet (about 80g), skin removed
  • 1/3 cup frozen peas
  • 1 small potato, peeled and diced
  • 2 tablespoons breast milk, formula, or water

Instructions(8 steps)

    Check salmon carefully for any bones, removing all you find.

    Peel and dice the potato into small cubes.

  3. 3

    Place potato in a small saucepan with enough water to cover. Boil for 10 minutes.

    Add peas and the salmon fillet on top. Cover and cook for another 6-8 minutes until salmon is fully cooked and flakes easily.

    Drain, reserving some cooking liquid.

    Flake the salmon, checking once more for bones.

    Mash or blend everything together with breast milk or water to a thick, slightly lumpy consistency.

    Cool to lukewarm before serving.
