Mini Berry Crumble Cups
Individual portions of warm, juicy mixed berries topped with a buttery oat crumble. A classic dessert scaled down for little ones.
Ingredients(7)
- 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries — fresh or frozen)
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions(9 steps)
- 1
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 2
If using strawberries, hull and quarter them. Leave blueberries and raspberries whole.
- 3
Toss berries with cornstarch in a small bowl until evenly coated.
- 4
Divide berries among 4 cups of a standard muffin tin or 4 small (6-ounce) ramekins.
- 5
In a separate bowl, combine oats, flour, and cinnamon. Add cold cubed butter and rub between your fingertips until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
- 6
Drizzle honey over the oat mixture and toss to combine.
- 7
Spoon the crumble topping evenly over the berries in each cup.
- 8
Bake for 22-25 minutes until berries are bubbling and the crumble topping is golden brown.
- 9
Cool for 10 minutes before serving — the berry filling will be very hot. Serve with a spoonful of plain yogurt if desired.

Age Appropriateness
A delightful dessert for 3-4 year olds. The individual portions make it feel special, and kids enjoy the contrast of crunchy topping and soft berries.
Introduction Tip
Let kids help sprinkle the crumble topping — they're more likely to eat something they helped make. Frozen berries work just as well as fresh.
